As seen on HGTV. Le Grand Merci sleeps ten in designer comfort within the sound of breaking waves. Easy access to both beach and bay.
Le Grand Merci is located in Cape San Blas, Florida on the highly prized northern end of the St. Joseph Peninsula, less than one mile from the entrance to the renowned T.H. Stone Memorial State Park and Wilderness Area. Wake up each morning just a short walk away from the sugar-white sands and emerald waters of our beach which was twice voted #1 in America.
Le Grand Merci sleeps up to ten people in three bedrooms (2 with king-sized beds and 1 with queen-sized bed); two upstairs hallway “yacht-style” youth bunks; plus one queen-sized living-room sleeper sofa. It has four full baths (3 inside/1 outside).
If you are looking for a relaxing, family-friendly, laid-back vacation spot where you can unplug from the pressures of life and feel the stress draining away, Cape San Blas is the perfect place for you.
While some area beaches have experienced significant erosion, our beaches on the northern end of the St. Joseph Peninsula are in great shape! Relax in the sun; play in the waves; snorkel or kayak on the bay; hike local nature trails; fish for your dinner; take long walks down miles and miles of unspoiled beachfront; or just make a campfire, sit back, and watch the beautiful sunset!
Following our $150,000 total makeover of this property completed in June 2018 and featured on HGTV with a look and feel inspired by the years we lived in France, we are offering you a unique opportunity to enjoy our beloved home-away-from-home at special, introductory rates.
Our family has travelled all over the world, including throughout French Polynesia in the South Pacific Ocean, but we have never found any place on earth where the sand is any whiter, the water any clearer, or the people any nicer than Cape San Blas and nearby Port St. Joe, the friendly town with old-style Southern hospitality many have nicknamed, "Mayberry-by-the-Sea." Make memories with those you love the most in the very special atmosphere of this family-friendly, high-rise free, and crowd-free part of Florida where things are still "the way they used to be."
We look forward to hosting you while you are in the area and we pray your stay becomes one of your most cherished memories.
